Fundraising/Donations Sub-committee – CHAIRS AND VOLUNTEERS NEEDED - As a member of the Fundraising/Donations sub-committee you organize and coordinate pre-determined fundraisers and solicit donations throughout the year from businesses and parents. As a 501c3 organization all of the donations we receive are tax deductible.
- Businesses - Donation Request letters need to be mailed out to as many businesses as possible. There is a spread sheet to work from but it can certainly be added to. Everything from gas stations to auto repair shops to clothing stores to beauty stores to restaurants to computer stores to big businesses like airline companies, American Express, and auto dealers. Once the letters go out, a follow up phone call or personal visit is necessary to achieve any donation. If you are employed by a business, please consider printing out the DONATION REQUEST LETTER and submitting to the appropriate department where you work. Some companies will only make a donation if the request comes from one of their own employees!!
- Parents - We solicit donations from parents through the Phantom Ball. Invitations are sent to ALL WHS parents for this fictitious ball. The RSVP cards request a donation by "purchasing pretend tickets to the ball."
Mulch Sub-committee - This is the ANGP’s largest fundraiser. Read More about this fantastic group and support this wonderful event. Complete the Volunteer Form to volunteer your time.
