WHAT is a Bulldog Buck?

Bulldog Buck’s are the “money” used at the All Night Grad Party to buy hundreds of cool items like:  Webcams, DVD players, coolers, inflatable chairs, digital cameras, dorm-size refrigerators, stereo pillows, dart boards, boogie boards – even LCD/TV/DVD Combos. These and a hundred other items are for “sale” in the prize room at the ANGP. Students automatically receive a starter packet of Bulldog Buck’s along with their entrance ticket to the ANGP. Students receive more Bulldog Buck’s for participating in the many ANGP night activities  which include: Casino games, laser tag, Hula Hoop, money machine and BINGO – just to name a few. Students must earn enough Bulldog Buck’s to “buy” the items in the Prize Rooms (It’s like using ticket/coupons to buy prizes out of the glass case at Chucky Cheese -but on a much bigger scale). Students who have earned Bulldog Buck’s prior to ANGP night have a greater advantage over other students, because they start the night with more “money.” 

HOW can I earn Bulldog Buck’s?

All Westfield students, regardless of their grade can earn Bulldog Buck’s in advance for their class ANGP. An incredible number of volunteer hours are needed in the months leading up to the graduation party.  Students in ALL grades can earn Bulldog Buck’s by volunteering for designated ANGP activities. In addition, parents of undergrad students who volunteer to chair an ANGP activities can earn Bulldog Buck’s for their undergrad student (so encourage your parents to get involved!). All earned Bulldog Buck’s are recorded on a master spread sheet that will credit individual students at their class ANGP.

WHERE & WHEN can I earn Bulldog Buck’s?

The best known Bulldog Buck activity is the biggest ANGP fund raiser- Mulch Day. This activity requires hundred of hours of student & parent help to distribute the mulch. Other activities that earn Bulldog Buck’s include assisting on the decorating committee, and helping with set-up the day of the party.
